Colombia: Interview with Dr Andy Higginbottom on the links between mining, militarisation and displacement

On 26th April, Amnesty UK hosted the screening of a new documentary produced by the Minority Rights Group (MRG) on Afro-descendant rights and mining in Colombia, Suarez Gold: Afro-Colombian miners defending heir heritage, Andy Higginbottom, principal lecturer in politics and Human Rights at Kingston University and also secretary of the Colombia Solidarity Campaign spoke to volunteers from the Amnesty London Photography Group.
